I was never one to follow the crowd; I always played to the beat of my own drum. Being the middle child, I was the creative one, I went to college when everyone was going to University (I obtained a university degree later on) and I moved across the country to British Columbia, while everyone else I knew stayed behind.
I like to take risks, try new things, explore every option and meet as many people as I can along the way. I have changed my mind on what I want to do with my life so many times, always with new goals in mind. As you can see from what I have told you about myself, choosing a career in the Wine Industry, something I knew nothing about and didn’t really like much, might not seem so shocking. However, the surprising part was how big of a passion emerged during the three years I have been in this field; studying, experiencing and very quickly, loving everything about it.
Leaving BC, (the place where I made this discovery) was a very hard thing to do so I decided to bring it back with me in full force. That is the reason for the creation of my blog and the Wine Club I am running in Liberty Village. Hopefully, these outlets will enable me to share with those who are interested my journey through the Wine Industry and all my wonderful experiences; my job with PMA Canada, opportunities meeting Wine Makers, attending wine events/ festivals, food & wine pairings and Wine Club nights.
Please come along and embrace my journey with me! Share your insight, fun facts, stories, and most of all your favourite wines!
